“Every night 116,000 people in Australia sleep homeless and another 1.5 million live in serious housing stress because of a chronic shortage of social and affordable housing. They are our most vulnerable women and men, as well as young families, including over 44,000 children.
This issue is too big for any one person, business or government to solve alone. But together, we have a simple community empowered solution to a seemingly insurmountable problem. Homes for Homes funds affordable housing for our most vulnerable by asking home owners to make a promise to contribute just 0.1% of a property’s sale price when they sell—whenever that might be.”
Whilst Homes for Homes has been operating for several years, a new visual identity, website design and suite of communication materials was needed to raise the profile of the initiative, to build trust and resonate with all audiences and partners, encouraging participation and support from individual homeowners, property developers and banks.
